             Philosophy

Dr. Wasserman's treatment orientation is rooted in her strong belief that behavior change is not only possible, but very successful if the patient is both highly motivated and skillfully supported.

Dr. Wasserman's clinical approach is eclectic.  She utilizes a variety of styles, tailoring treatment to the unique needs of the patient.  Cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and insight therapy are among the treatment modalities she employs.  Patients are expected to be active participants in the therapy process.
