Dr. Wasserman has been a practicing clinical psychologist for over 40 years.
Following graduation from U.C. Berkeley, she earned her doctorate degree from Boston University and received her post-doctoral training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles. Dr. Wasserman was a member of the USC Keck School of Medicine clinical faculty in Family Medicine prior to her commitment to full-time private practice in 2006.

Dr. Wasserman's treatment orientation is rooted in her strong belief that behavior change is not only possible, but very successful if the patient is both highly motivated and skillfully supported.
Dr. Wasserman's clinical approach is eclectic. She utilizes a variety of styles, tailoring treatment to the unique needs of the patient. Cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and insight therapy are among the treatment modalities she employs. Patients are expected to be active participants in the therapy process.

Walnut & Mentor in central Pasadena, two blocks from the Lake Avenue Gold Line. There is both valet and street parking available.
